Osho Leela Meditation Center, 1025 Rosewood Dr., #107 Boulder, Co 80304
Duration: 3 hr
Become the tide and ripple effect as we create great movement for the feminine and masculine energies of Shiva to shine the light of our true nature on humanity! With Sam Silver as Pujari, join DeepSi and Friends: Kali Fantoni, Niki Naeve, Sree Devi and Vinayak Bringi, Erica Newby, Andy Penziner, Dustin Adams and more!
It is a notable festival in Hinduism, marking a remembrance of “overcoming darkness and ignorance” in life and the world.
It is observed by remembering Shiva and chanting prayers, fasting, and meditating on ethics and virtues such as honesty, non-injury to others, charity, forgiveness, and the discovery of Shiva.
Ardent devotees stay awake throughout this night.
Others visit one of the Shiva temples or go on a pilgrimage to the Jyotirlingams.
The festival is believed to have originated in 5th century BCE.

The trees and wildlife here are so life affirming and the joy of the birds and animals when we sing kirtan mantra is palpable.
Once again we will sing to the causeless love that is embodied in the Sanskrit chant that we immerse ourselves in the joy and vibration that takes us deeply inward and pulses magically outward!

Join us Saturday May 18th, 2024, at 4140 17th St. Boulder, CO 80304
for Kirtan by the Creek
We will chant to Sita Ram, Radhe Shyam and more.
Join us outdoors for the first time this year in our beautiful backyard by the creek! Please park at Crestview Elementary and enjoy a short walk to David’s house.

This kirtan will mostly consist of David’s original “jazzy” offerings, set in his lovely back yard complete with burbling stream.
I’ll be backing David up on harmonium, and leading a trancy Old English “charm” meant to remedy any curse on the garden, a folksy Snatam Kaur Song called “Runnin’ From This,” and a peaceful closing chant.
Attu is planning to make an appearance and sing the songs he’s known for, including the rockin’ spiritual, “hari om.” We’ll also have percussion and bass. Should be fun!
