I hope everyone who could, got a look the “blood moon” lunar eclipse last night!
In honor of the moon, and all things celestial, I’m dropping my very first music video today!

Ra ma da sa invokes the healing power of the Earth, Moon, Sun and the Infinite for healing of self and others.
I hope having this chant set with visuals deepens the experience of having that parasympathetic nervous system moving and grooving, relaxing us, promoting healing, bringing a sense of well-being and connectedness.
We all need such regular reminders to disentangle from thoughts which go around and around, burdens which no longer serve us, and situations which make us feel out of control.
As you might imagine, producing this took some commitment and effort. I’m hoping you will share widely!
Thanks again to Colin D. Young photography and David Kreger for video capture and production!

And if nothing else works, do an internet search for “Niki Naeve Youtube” and hopefully it will be there!
While a celestial event can be viewed as random, we can also use it to mark ourselves in time and space. I am here, now. This is the picture of my life, at this moment. These are the factors swirling around my consciousness right now, like stars in the galaxy. This is my perspective. Today I am a rock on the moon. Yesterday I was a blade of grass on the Earth. Tomorrow, perhaps the stars. And back again.
I stayed up and was rewarded with a view long enough to snap a few grainy photos from the back yard, and then the clouds rolled in. I’d say that while it wasn’t particularly bloody in appearance, it was bloody cold out!

Did you stay up to see the “blood moon?” I would love to see your pictures and hear your experiences.
What do celestial events mean to you, if anything? Do you use them in any way to reset your thoughts, your perspective? Do they make you feel more connected, or more isolated?
ra ma da sa sa say so hung.
My very loose interpretation: May all beings understand we are stardust. 🙂
